Just so I understand you, does thismechanism put a red dot onthe object you are trying to shoot? Is that the idea, or is this mechanism simplya visual sighting aid?

Ken-

The RDS is an aiming device that projects a Red Dot emitted from a LED onto a semi-transparent lens that one aligns with the camera's lens. It is not a laser projection onto the target; only onto the RDS sight's lens...
