Tiger, to say that I am green with envy of these photos would be an understatement.
They are the ultimate in what I hope to achieve someday. I would like to know about this RDS that I have been reading about in the forum and how to use it. How it keeps the target in the frame.

Bayourebel, Thanks for the comments! Here's a link to show you what the RDS looks like mounted on a FZ30. Jim

Great sequence, Tiger... Having large target subjects, great light and blue skies really help the AF lock in. Have you noticed the smaller the target, the less percentage of sharp focus or is your technique pretty well honed in?

Seems like you really like your RDS. Any issues with seeing the subjects through the sight's barrel or with glare on/in the RDS' lens? I've noticed with my Daisy's open sight that the apparent mylar lens is subject to back glare sometimes - especially if the battery is low and the red dot is getting dimmer...

I'm scheduled to go to AZ in early February for a technical presentation in Tucson and will be spending a few days on busines in Phoenix area, as well. Any good sights to check out?

Thanks Telecorder! Actually most of the tagets were quite small but with the red dot it didn't seem to matter as I had no problem keeping it on target. I would highly recommend going to SkyDive Arizona, in Eloy, which is located between Tucson and Phoenix and is only about 8 miles off of I-10 if your driving from Tucson to Phoenix. The photo ops there are out of sight! If you should go there be sure to check out the wind tunnel and see how to fly without wings! There are so many places to see in the Phoenix area that it would take many, many pages to list ! Didn't you stay at the Phoenician the last time you were here? If so go up Camelback with your camera for some great shots. Enjoy your trip. Jim

Yeah, for quite sometimes never visit Panasonic forum, bcos thinking to buy Kodak P850 or KM 5D, but since Panasonic come out with new model FZ7, looks like this one might be the ideal camera for me :-)
Few my basic requirement: OIS, 12x zoom, High ISO 1600 and also compact.
