Saw this very cute jumping spider. First time I have seen this. It really have a cute face. Looks like a chimpmunk with puffy cheeks! DOF abit shallow, but just like to share this little fella.....not too sure of its ID.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, ISO 50, F8, 1/100s to 1/125s

Nice kid, Tchuanye-

I guess that most of the JS you shoot are far bigger than this one. Or am I wrong?

I would say this fella would be an average size. Depending on the species, some would be larger than this, some would be smaller.

The Heavyt Jumper is slightly twice this fella, while the banded pintella is smaller than this guy. Also, not all JS are so friendly to come on my finger. The heavy jumper and the banded pintella will run away when you are very near them.

You are right, without my finger, I sometimes forget whats their size! I did not expect it to be that small too based on my memory until I saw the last shot!

I think it is more likely we could ID you with your fingerprints... well, I for one do not know anything about spiders.

BTW, how much is the magnification of your close-up lense?
