Took my too much neglected fz15 out for another walk the other day. Actually had a little sun this day, so it was quite a treat. All shot in A priority, iso 100.

1 Thieving squirrel.

4 A Coopers Hawk, I was told. I've never seen one of these before on my walkabouts. I spotted this fellow or gal, not sure which, from quite a distance, and used manual focus at 432mm. It looks a little worse for wear. Must be having a hard winter. Image is cropped to 50%. cheers.......thekman.

Yes, Jim. I caught him. Lol. He was really pi__ing off the birds. Hogging all the seeds, and they were quite vocal about it. They have a small compound with feeders at this location, and the birds are around it all winter. Mostly chickadees, and redwinged blackbirds. But the squirrels are there too, and thieving the feeders all the time.......cheers.......thekman.
