I've bought plenty of stuff from B&H Photo with never a problem including returns of unwanted items - not their fault. http://www.bugeyedigital.com/ is as good with better prices for the rt5264p ($16) and dcr-250 ($45).

And they ship worldwide.

Just bought my FZ30 from http://www2.buydig.com yesterday - already have a *real* tracking number via Fedex which shows it as being picked up and on it's way - should arrive Friday. This will be the second camera I've bought from them - no hassles.

I've bought from www.beachcamera.com right before xmas with no problems. They have some of the best prices too, with no pressure to sell you add-ons like extended warranties. I'd definitely buy from them again.
I've also bought from www.butterflyphoto.com . Heavy pressure to purchase memory cards, batteries, extended warranties - but I just said NO to everything. My order arrived the next day, even using their free FedEx ground shipping. It was worth it - they had the best price. But I do hear their customer service is almost non-existent.

B& H is a good company and while folks over here have no problem ordering ...the do want that copy of the CC from overseas buyers ...your friend was not the first person from overseas to give up on B&H as they felt that was unreasonable.

I do not remember what Companies over here that do not require that but adorama may be one

Maybe here

I guess you do not plan to keep the Raynox adapter on the camera when not using these two super macros. This adapter causes problems with 52mm filters and lens hood. It is better to invest in a 62mm adapter get a 62mm UV and lens cap. Check out "Phayee" and CRing FZ20" on eBay the ship worldwide with less hassle. It may take longer to get your product but they are both reliable.

The lens hood should be used all the time except for flash. There are invisible beams of light called ambient light, which a zooms attract like a magnetic. They wash out colors in your pictures. It is not a sunshade it is a lens hood and that is why Panasonic included it in the box. The problem is vignetting in the corners with a filter and hood at 1X.The other problem with your decision is when you ever decide to use larger size lenses you will need step rings which degrade performance. It would be interesting to see a TCON14B the finest 62mm mount telephoto add-on for the FZ 20 stuck on the Raynox adapter. Both the macros previously mention will fit on a 62mm adapter. You should not be starting with a powerful macro until you have developed an affinity toward that type of work. You would be better off using a 62mm mount Nikon 6T. It is a much better starting place. The pictures quality of the 6T is such that you can crop 50% and still get the detail. Forum members use the Phayee, CRing orPemaraal adapters and with a 62mm UV and 62mm Hama Hood. Raynox makes some very nice lenses but not adapters.

Example of cropped 6T.
