Hi KennethD,

I have some questions!!! Ha, ha...

Did you shoot your macros w/the 4t with:

tripod?

at full tele or full wide?

with/without Macro mode of fuzzy30?

Thanks in advance for your reply

Nice macro shots Ken.

So is the 4t better than the 5t and 6t? Can someone explain the difference of a higher and lower diopter rating?

lol not to go off topic but is that gum holding the coin to the wall?

The 4T and 6T are the same 2.9 diopter just different mounts 52mm and 62mm. The 3T and the 5T 1.9 diopter 52mm and 62mm.

This shot done with a 4T on FZ10 with CRing adapter and 62-52mm Cringat 18" and 9X then 50 % cropped in PP. I feel it gives more DOF.

Kenny! Comeon - get creative!

Armed with that 4T I'm looking for "There's a speck on the fleck on the wing on the flea on the hair on the wart on the tail on the frog on the bump on the branch on the log in the hole in the bottom of the sea "

Just kiddingbut only kinda - expecting some mosquito pics from you in a few months!

So If I buy the 4t I need a 52-62mm step up ring? BTW, I have the FZ30.

No treed . the FZ30 has a 55mm thread so you would need a 52-55mm ring

Actually you need a 55-52mm step down ring. Step ring diameters start at the camera end. Also, the 3t and 5t are +1.5 diopter lens (not 1.9).

In this period they can only be used at home (and Iactually neither bring them with me at the excursion). But Spring is coming in a month...
