Olympus WCON-08B is the lens I desided to order. I called 2 places and asked for a thin 55 to 62 step up ring and they did not know what I was talking about, They said they have a step up ring, is it thin they dont know. How thin is thin when asking for a step up ring? The reason I ask for a thin ring is because after reading CK's digital Camera page, he stated " When purchasing step rings for wide angle converters, always buy a thin one. Otherwise, slight vignetting may occur in the corner areas." Off hand, while you are herewho has the best price on the lens? Samys was the best I found @ $119.00

Thanks.......

Search eBay for "w-angle FZ30" look at the bottom of the ad for Trings they also have a WCON07 solution. Lens prices include shipping and rings.

I will let you be the judge. It is 70 feet from the lens to house front.

BTW, that is red gravel in the foreground.

I saw a big difference. The 08 had nice trees in full leaf. 07 killed the trees.

It is difficult to tell the difference in quality on a monitor. Is the 08 as good as the 07? Do you use the stepup/your ring step down?

The WCON08B is using a 55-62mm TRing

The WCON07 is using a combination 55-62mm Step-up ring and a 62-55mm CRing
