Yesterday I came across some pretty nice subjects to photograph. Someone with too much time made towers of ice floes from the river Elbe. I spotted them from the tram that crosses the river via a bridge.

The same evening I took a ride to the airport and made some indoor shots, because it was already too dark too capture some airplanes when I arrived there.

Cool pics.

Specially the one with the ice tower and the castle in the background. My german is almost non-existent so the images told the story to me.

Very nice set of photos. We've had no winter to speak of in the southeastern United States, so it's nice to see some winter photos.
