We were talking about using red dot sights on another forum and I posted some pictures of a mount I made to use the sight.

A fellow must have felt sorry for me and sent me his version of a good mount. I must agree its much better than my attempt. And after trying it out for a few days I would like to show you his version.

It also has the added advantage of including a pc sync cord for the flash...which may even be a good idea for the FZ20 as you can use the sight when its too dark for the EVF.

Sync cord

It has that thumb wheel for securing it down and it stays put and returns to zero when removed and installed again .....no tools needed and very well made.

Here is his Email if you would like more info.

Oh and that white stuff is not dandruff but snow.

I am not 100% sure but he had mentioned about 15 bucks for the mount and 27.00 for a complete unit. He was not sure he was going to sell them but since I told him I thought it was a good mount and very well made . I think he has reconsidered.

I also like the Idea of the PC sync cord adapter.....I used the short cord that came with the Sunpak 383 and it works fine.

2 birds with one stone ..so to speak.

Send him an Email he must be a nice fellow to send me a mount.
