try B&H Photo... that's where i got my 6T. note that the 4T and 5T are different sizes, as well as different strengths. the 4T is a 2.9 diopter 52mm lens, and the 5T is 1.5 diopter62mm.

Thanks squirl but I checked their site twice and could not find the 4/5/6 Ts anywhere.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The +3 diopter 4t and 6t seem to be sold out. The +1.5 diopter 5t is readily available. One excellent optionis the +3 diopter olympus mcon40, which has 55mm threads, thusneeds no step ring with the fz30 or fz5. Another is the +4 diopter raynox dcr150, which comes with a universal snap-on adapter that fits any diameter 52mm-67mm.

fmoore,

So the Mcon-40 would be a better choice than Mcon-35? I know the need for a step up ring for the 35, but both are +3 as far as I know. I have not had any experience with the Raynox (as of yet)

Only because of the step ring. I mentioned the dcr150 as an alternative for cost reasons - about half the price of the mcon40.

I have a special 55-43mm ring non-step ring for the DCR150 and 250.

Fred... After reading a lot more posts on the subject and the Nikons Sold Out, I ordered the DCR 150 & 250 on Amazon for under $100 incl s/H. Based on photos posted in the Forum and your several posts it should be a good purchase... Thanks
