Hi! Longing for summer, I visited an inhouse butterfly garden this weekend. They also have some birds as this parrot.I think having out-of-focus objects both in front and behind the actual target gives adSLR look to the image...

... and here's an image I'm quite happy with, one of the frequent butterflies... of south-american origin, I think...

Beautiful captures, Peha, and they both tack sharp. My favorite is the butterfly because they're my favorite subject to photograph, and I'm waiting for Spring to arrive with lots ofbutterflies!

Very nice, and dSLR-like quality.

The BF is great, maybe I 'd liked it was a lil bit more on the right of the frame.

Thanks again for nice comments! You're absolutely right, Fransesco, cropping it to the right madean improvement, thanks for the B&W image, it'ssaved



TLB39, for shooting data install a program like View EXIF (found here http://ak.no-ip.com/EXIF/index_en.htm). Then you can right-click on all Internet images and, if available with the image, read the complete set of image data. Very usable! Here's what it looks like for the butterfly pic:

Narmer, How do you do the border on the B&W of the buttefly?
