Hey, I did a search and tried to find this info before starting this thread.

Can the FZ30 support a 2GB SD card? I'm debating between two Sandisk UltraII 1GB cards or a single 2GB card (if it can handle it).

I'll be picking up the camera and the necessary accessories in about a month.

Thanks!

Yes it can use a 2GB card and Amazon has them on sale, the SanDisk Ultra II SD card for $99. Jim

I picked up a Ramdata 150X 2GB card on ebay for $108 shipped and it came with a "free" usb2.0 card reader/writer. Ramdata cards are actually Samsung brand...and I think the Ultra II cards are only 66X speed.

Anyway, I ordered it on the 14th. It was shipped from California and made it here to Italy today, the 21st. Not bad.
