Thanks Sven, I'll have to try those in B/W and or sepia! Hard to believe your having snow when our temperatures have been in the high 70s and low 80s! Watch for a package, I'll send you a large box of sunshine! :-) Jim

Thanks Treed, Yes I did use a closeup lens, Nikon 6T so I was able to shoot the flame from about 12", with no melted lens! Jim

Nice shots Tiger!! I like them all but wonders how that egret would turn out with an even largeraperture thanf5.0... I'm currently looking for nice examples ofvery narrow DOF pictures made with the FZ30 :G

Thanks PeHa. Had I set the aperture to something higher than 5.0 it probably would have helped with the white area. Jim

Great shots Jim. It's good to see those palm trees again. Oh, and about the warm weather your having, I got warm in my car after about 20 minutes with the heater on full so were staying warm to....at times....sorta.
