Saw this huge tree in full bloom and tried to get some shots even tho the wind was blowing pretty good. Ap Mode, AF, f 11, 8mp, all setting on normal, shutter varied around 1/250 as the bloom would move. Sorry I didn't get a shot of the tree as I was concentrating on the blooms. Some cropping on a couple. Tomorrow is another day.

Didn't see the bee in time on the one shot, probably wouls have switched to S Mode and shot at 1/500 +/-. Any thoughts about capturing flying bees?

Some IMA test have shown FZ30 colors are too saturated and far less accurate than FZ5 ones.

Anyway, comparing them with my FZ20 (and no PP of course) I like FZ30 ones better (and then once can always tund down saturation of camera setting to achieve more natural tones).
And what is more important it seems FZ30 colors are closer to real ones (although more saturated) with less yellowish greens or purplish reds and other shifts.

So I think that if FZ40 is not going to be much better than 30 image-wise I'll have to decide between a late 2006 rebated FZ30 and something like a 350D...
