Squirl I am not only telling that these 3 pics are quite great.

But also it is the first time I seriously think about taking a Tcon for my FZ20

Thanks

PS my only delusion is in that I though this thread was about boa snakes ("boids" taxa)

Narmer,

The TCON-14B is a great addition to the FZ20... gives you about 50% more reach, and doesn't cost a stop like a lot of other converters. Optically, it seems to be about the best one out there for this camera.

Sorry about the confusion... my lame attempt at a little humor. People from someparts of New York sometimes pronounce "birds" as "boids"... i was just being goofy. :?

Nice shots. Do you know if it works well with the FZ30?

squirl033+ FZ20 +TCON14B =Wow. I think The TCON14B is better then the TCON17 on the FZ30.

it won't fit the FZ30 without a step-up ring. the TCON-14B has 62mm rear threads. it's also a lot heavier than the TCON-17, but if you're willing to hang 16 oz of glass on the front of your FZ30, it will give you excellent results...
