Fina, which camera and settings did you use for those snow shots? Auto White Balance or custom? Any post processing. I am asking since most cameras (including my FZ30) tend to turn snow blue in auto WB.

I used the FZ30, and the white balance was on auto, I believe. I did do some post processing in Photoshop, I find a simple "auto levels" fixes the snow color. I have the same phenonmenon as you when I take a picture of snow, tends to come out a little blue. Sometimes I like the effect, sometimes not, depends on the photo.

Here is the exif data for the last photo, with the most snow. I accidently had the exposre a bit high, which is why there seems to be a lot of detail lost in the snow. Hope this helps.

Thank you, I also found that PS Auto Levels works miraculously when fixing off balance snow pics.

Here is an example of a straight-out-of-the-camera RAW file of snow, with no white balance adjustment.
