Thanks guys....cold snap didn't last too long we are back in the plus side of temps now. This pic (like a lot of mine ) was cropped so you can not see the snow in the river valley below the buildings. We had a v e r y mild winter. (huge sigh of relief) So this wasn't unbearable. It sure looks bleak tho doesn't it? I wish someone would come up with a tree or bush that could live in our climate and NOT lose it's green leaves in this cold. Everything around us is grey, or grey brown, except our pines, etc. When our skies are blue, it's not so bad, but when we get this type of day......one wants to beat it south.

Your right Kenneth, that looks COLD! That kind of weather would do me in! Nice shot. Jim

Squirl, Looks like all that rain you had made for some great flowers! That second shot is super.

Hey Kenneth, we got some warmer weather today though, just enough to create some run off.

You should be hitting town in one of our best months weather wise. May can be blessed with warm chinook winds and very mild weather. It is almost always the case that we get one more shot of snow in the first week of may. but it comes with fury and leaves quite quickly. Keep your fingers crossed and hope you miss that one. If you have the time take a short hop up to Banff. About an hour and a half drive. Good chance for wildlife shots...so bring your camera....:G
