I have been searching the forum and the internet for a pictureof a fully extended 72 mm Hama Hood. Would someone who has one mind posting a picture of it in all three positions. (or post a link if you have one)

Also an explanation of how you open it to the fully extended position.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks. Remember seeing that thread months ago, but searched for an hour last night and did not pull it up.

Is it common for the Hama hoods to break between the second andthird position fold?

I do not know about the Hama but I am on my second Hama style hood. The first hood had a stiff rubber compound that did give out at the fold. My new Hama style hood has a softer rubber compound with no sign of a fracture.
