a pair of teals resting on a log... i liked the reflection...



a bufflehead... i know the white is a bit blown, but i like the colors on his head, and the water drop hanging from his bill... :G



and a heron guarding its nest...

Nice bird shots, especially number 3. That heron really blends in with the branches, with that nice orange bill sticking out.

#1 is a super shot. This is with the 14b? How far away were you? Hand held?

thanks! i was about 60 feet away, shooting from a monopod.

The teals are whimsical.

The Bufflehead is ok but nothing happening in the picture. The Heron is the best in fact it is a great shot, I would crop up a bit from the bottom

Squirll-

Great shots! The Heron is a good candidate for a matting wall hanger... Its shots like these - down loaded and opened up in an imaging editor that make PP fun and enjoyable - just not that much to be done!
