Aftertwo weeksof waiting (delivery made an error) I finally got my FZ30 today. For months I read reviews and the different forums and after consedring all cons and pro's I desided to buy the FZ30.

I'm a bit disapointed that I didn't deside way earlier, because I absolutly love it.

Good grip, fast start up, focusing in dim light (even focusing while it's dark), sharp pictures, good colours, good flash range.....

I love it!

This picture was taken in very poor light (only one lightbulb was burning in the room), and my wife and child were 20ft away.

With my KM-Z2 I couldn't take pictures under these circumstances (how do you spell that word), and is one of the reasons why I wanted to upgrade.

Picture is straight out of the cam, only resizing.

The little red-headed critter there is more than a good enough reason.
good job. It'll only get better.

Nice photo. I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more of that little one in this forum.

Check it out... someone else who upgraded from a KM Z2! Low light on that thing was awful. Flash or no flash, it would NOT autofocus, and manual was a joke.

I took some nice pictures with it, but inside the house I had tot turn on all the lights (includingtwo 150 watt lamps) and then.... if I was lucky, and didn't use the tele, I sometimes could shoot a picture.

To all the others; Thanks for the kind words, and yes I'm planning to shoot a heck lot more pictures of my youngest (5 weeks old)my two other kids (4 years and 10 years) and my wife ofcourse., and everything that I find worth taking a picture.
