Just excellent! Thanks for posting. The quality of some of the shots posted here, especially bird shots is as good as it gets. I especially like the way you have captured the movement of the open wings.
Shots like this do the talking, showing what the FZ30 is capable of in the right hands.

If there were any word express the photographs more than "excellent" I'd use it.. :shock:

Great job Jim, especially after considering 12x zoom handheld and not even one blurry shot!

Jim, I had read the manual cover to cover almost, but didn't remember that part. I guess if I understand it right (101-425) the 101 is a folder # and the 425 is # of shots that I have taken. I have a long way to go and it is nice to know the camera will last up to 13,000. Don't think I have ever taken that many in my whole past and I am not a spring chicken.

Jerry, Sounds like you have "no" selected, or it defaults to that, in the Setup menu under reset, (for file number). And yes that 101 is the folder and 425 is the number of pictures you have taken. Limber up that shutter finger and start taking more pictures! :-) Jim
