terrific shots, Jim... hummers don't usually let me get near that close, if i can even find one to begin with! how'd you do it?

Thanks Squirl, I had to rub sugar water over my whole body! (just kiddin!) This little guy was so busy working these flowers that he didn't have time to worry about me! I got within 15 to 20 feet of him and used full 12x zoom then cropped the shots. Jim

Having just looked at Squirl's Cormarant shots then opened your posting, I realise I have a long way to go....Just great captures...Fred

Extraordinary, Jim. I have not seen humming bird photos with such clarity and colors in this forum. Great shots!

You must be hearing echoes. wonderful, you and squirl, and touchnye and others, make me feel as though I wasted money on the fz30, and need to just go back to a brownie if I can find one. Or just forget the whole thing. LOL

Great photography by all. I can only aspire to come close. I love to view everyone's exploits in the field. I have some I have taken, but when I see yours and others, I thinkmine aren't there yet.

Love the hummingbirds, time to put out the feeders.
