Somebody said that the FZs don't fit into pockets.
Well.......
This is no problem with the FZ5 without the adapter.
But even with the lens protection it fits into many pockets.

This is a standard fjell raeven jacket modified into a vest.
The sleeves were turned into addition bags containing my "normal" equipment.
The inner bags are empty for further use - bean bag, bigger reflector, pneumatic release, reverse lenses, cokin filters....

and here is the the double exposure;

I could use such a vest for my SLR equipment, but in this case even the camera is included!
Hope you like it

Sven,

Very cool!! I have been thinking about getting just this kind of vest for hiking in the woods. How is the weight with all that equipment? Better then just putting it all in a backpack?

I read the suggestion, somewhere, that photographers could just buy hunting vests/jackets as they are easier to find and less expensive than photographer's jackets. I guess hunters must carry all sorts of odds and ends too because their vests are supposed to have lots of pockets. I may check it out.

Hi Brett,

these are the weights:
bag 0.4kg vest 0.6kg, but it is cold here and a bag does not warm you enough.
Equipment 2 kg plus flash 0.4kg.
5 Pounds without the flash, 6 pounds including the flash.
All parts at hand!
My SLR equipment (22-800mm) would need a backpack for this equipment.

Ladyhawk,
that is a nice suggestion. Photo wests were quite expensive. I will look for hunters or anglers equipment, but I needed some modifications for the tripods anyway..
