Hi Folks,
Just wanted to share a few shots from the Easter weekend.
I attended a music festival and took along the FZ30.
This shot is one of the members of Darra J, from Senegal.

Very nice. Sharp, the colors are great, and I love the contrast with the totally black background.

Just magic, this is in the class of Lovelife.

I should know this, but was this Folk in Canberra or Blues in Byron?

Anyway it looks like you had a great time.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the compliments folks.
Comparing this shot with some others like it I realise that what lifts this one is having the subject in sun and the backdrop in shade.

Charlie, the event was The Great Escape, held at Newington Armoury, now part of Sydney Olympic Park. Good as it was I still hope to get to the Byron Bay festival one year.

Max. Nice photo again. My daughter went to the Blues at Byron last weekend. Poured with rain and took one hour to go 6 Km.
