I've started taking my FZ3 to some more football matches. When I post them on the team in questions website I just post them straight out of the camera. Could you advise me on cropping? This is an example below. I like the way i've captured the player in mid air after really smacking the ball but i'm unsure what is relevant in the picture.

I like it as it is. You show the crowd, the other players in relationship to the one kicking the ball and personally, I think any croppoing would detract from the atmosphere.

I second that opinion. What you said is so true in sport action shots.

I was expecting pictures of the "other" football.

Looking at the photo in more detail, I can see that most people in the picture have stopped what they are doing just to see what happens to the ball after he strikes it. Thanks for your opinions, always very helpful.
