Hi all, had the FZ30a few weeks now but only really just had the chance to take it out and stretch its legs.... and its every bit as great as i had hoped

just posting four of the shots i took at Chester Zoo here in the UK, comments always welcome... good and bad

Great job on the selective focusing. That can be a challenge with stuff between you and the subject. Did you use spot focus? I really like the Rhino pic, looks so peaceful and yet you know how dangerous they are.

i kinda played around with the camera during the day, using auto and then aperture with spot focus....

took masses of pics, always really pleased to get a few nice ones....

shame the monkey in pic 2 isn't in sharp focus but hey can't win em all!
