What is a good external flash for FZ-30 that is not too expensive?

According to ...

Should be OK, trigger voltage around 6v :-)

Here is a link to the 383

The 144 will work but I think it is not much more powerful than the built in FZ30 flash.

The Vivitar 285 HV will work as will most any flash ...you need to keep the trigger voltage under 24 volts and you wold most likely want a flash with a guide number over 100 ft.

Almost any of these flashes on these 2 pages will work.

Thanks!

I will be receiving my FZ-30 in a few days.
Going to order SD card, reader, and some filters.
Can't wait to get my hands on it.
