Big props for the Hiso quality work. Hey the smaller stuff sells on many Portals like fidora.

Now to do one with extended zoom and Dzoom in (ez) to show off PF and how to reduce it.

Ken what happend with the ISO400 in your opinion? It isnot that good but the others are? fz30 your samples....

and for the record! I do feel that the FZ30 is a much more quality camera but I did not have th mula or experiace to justify the buy. I've touched them in the stores and walk away feeling as if I missed something with the Fz7.

Yes the FZ30 is known to be a noisey camera. Main reason for this is pana squeezed a very hi resolution (8mp) onto such a small ccd. Noise at iso400 is just the way the camera is. Alot of post processing is needed to selvage a good usable image from iso400.

IMO i think the fz30 is a brilliant camera and regardless of this noise issue it has it makes up for it with its outstanding picture qualty in other aspects.

I saw the fz30 ranked the top super zoom of 2005 from What photography mag. So even though it has this disadvantage of noise at lo iso it still managed to pick itself up on other pic aspects and top the rest.

Then again this is only 1 review and i agreed with pretty much everything mentioned in the review. Im sure theere are many saying the opposite

I downloaded Noise Ninja to try it but the free version overlays the image with a grid,
making it useless. Where do you get the free version?

thanks

Max

Thanks kenmck. I saw however that noise ninja states in the free verison they watermark all saved images...that doesn't sound too good...?
I'll try and see the other one.
Thanks, Jussi.
