Any TZ-1 Users Out there? I carry a "Tizzy" as my second, or pocketcamera to my Nikon D-50. I like the Tizzy a lot, and if you are respectful of its limitations, it does a great job.

Yes, there are TZ1 users here. See "First review of the TZ1 is on megapixel.net" further down on this forum.

Hi MT,

You mention the TZ1 's limitations. Wich one do you see as limitations?

I'm still hesitating between 'big' and small, and between canon and panasonic. The TZ1 seems to be allmost perfect, but I'm afraid I'm going to regret later that I didn't buy s fz7 or canon s3is.

In term of zooming TZ1 sure a winner.
Only don't have any manual control, but depend on what u expect.
Quality I guess not bad as well.
I choose FZ7 bcos the manual control.
But actually I like TZ1 bcos the size and the super zoom.
Some ISO sample shots, I took during Panasonic road show in Singapore.
Below image is 100% crops.

Also samples of moon by FZ7.

Just my 2 cents

Armadilloshield-

Just got my TZ-1 last night. Here is the first photo. Fully auto, using the Night Landscape Scene Mode but nice and sharp and the exposure was right on the money.
