This is an answer to Johns (Boyzo Australia) maple thread - half a year ago...

The spring needed a long time this year to find this part of the northern hemisphere...
But finally he woke up my japanese maples.
You don't need many flowers if you have these trees nearby ;-)

Hope you like it

All stunningly attractive!
Again shows how black is most effective as a background as it totally lets the subject grab your whole attention.
Very stylish pics...would look great printed extra large and on a wall!

My favourite no3. It has the great feel of spring coming with the leaves struggling to open.
Also inspiring to see a photographer here actually creating art and not just well done technically perfect yet dull snapshots.
Maybe one day I will too get there!

Thanks for letting us see them!

Very nice colors and background.
Sven your pics always have mood.

Either when they astonish because of the extreme magnification and now, as in the other post, for the very distant subject, or when you are just in the middle, you always succeed in transmitting or generating emotions. Thanks.

Francesco

PS I'd liked the green-red leaf before a completely black background too
