That's what I call "photographic eye".
You can make simple geometries or subject become interesting.

My Compliments

Great photos. All very detailed and clear. Very sharp. How do you hyperlink photos on the forum?

Jerry

Jerry, Jim and Francesco

Thanks for the comments on the shots - I'm spending a wee bit of time looking at everyones work here and esp on the galleries over at http://www.photo.net/gallery for inspiration. I've been planning to post a thread of the latest inspirational galleries I've found there from those using mainly digicams. The suprising thing for me was that even though yesterday was an overcast kind of day I was still getting some really fast shutter speeds upto 1/1000s at ISO100 with the FZ10.

I still havent been able to get the right shot of the ship as I'm just finding the angles for the right composition difficult to do.

Jerry, to use hyperlinks just click on the icon inbetween the speech marks and brackets. Can't believe I couldn;t work that out till a couple of days ago.

Cheers

Hi Fred

Thanks for the tip and compliment I'd completely forgotten about HMS Victory - I'll be popping down to Pompey as soon as I get a chance esp if the weather holds out.

Cheers
