Got my FZ30 in the post yesterday, have a quick question...

When I used full manual mode on my FZ20, if I changed the shutter time from say, 1/250 to 1/500, the screen would dim accordingly and I'd gain a pretty good indication of how under/over-exposed the picture was.

On the FZ30 however, when I make the same change, there's no difference in the preview screen; it's only when I press the shutter-button halfway to focus that the change is reflected. Obviously that's a more time-consuming process then, to change the shutter speed (or aperture) a bit, press shutter halfway to update the preview, etc. Am I missing something? Is there a way to make the screen update without the need to re-focus..?
