Since I dropped my old camera and broke it, I have been in the market for a new camera.* My husband has the FZ5 , so after playing with it, I decided to go for the FZ30.* As luck would have it, we found one at the Costco in Albuquerque (we live and travel in a motorhome, so mail is often spotty), so I bit the bullet and bought one last Thursday.* I spent the first couple of days being completely intimidated by all the options, but yesterday, we decided to go to the zoo and see what we could get photo wise.* Lots od mixed results, since the sun was really bright and the animals were pretty lethargic due to the heat, but I'm enclosing my 2 favorite shots (actually the same shot, cropped and lightened a bit).* The first is the Tiger Habitat and the secon, in the next post, is the detail I pulled out of the ledge underneath the waterfall, where this beautiful tiger was resting.

Looks like you're off to a good start. I really like the second one.
