Hi!

I have a FZ7, and I what ti by a Hoya R72 filter to take IR photos, byt then I read that FZ's series don't take good Ir photos, is this right?will the FZ7 be able to do it?

With the exception of the FZ1, that's true. The internal infraredblocker on the later fz's (including the fz7) is to strong for decent ir photography. See http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23

But is there any reason wy new cameras have this block to ir, and is there any way to go around the block like more exposition time?

Increasing the exposure time can help a little but not much. The quality is just not there. See http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d50ir.htm
