Popped down to Brick lane to try and retake the Albert E garffirri mural but no joy as there were cars parked in front of it. Nearly had a disaster when I got home as all of the shots I took today were not on the SD card ! Did a FSCK and repaired the SD card but at least 5 of the pics that I really wanted to keep were missing !

Lots of Canon and Nikon DSLR users around today and I must have been the only digicam shooter out today. As usual all in manual mode, ISO 100, minor USM and WB correction. A minro crop on the first shot.

These are the ones that I managed to recover from the card:

Quiet a bit o noise and loss of detail in the above shot - I was too far away when I took this and the light was low but I'm still happy with it as this was the only shot i took of the pooch.

Cheers

Very interesting shots. I would not have even taken them, because I don't have the eye for what is really interesting, it seems. But when I actually see these type of shots, I think back often about the many opportunities I had and overlooked. Now with a digital camera I take many shots, most not very good, because I don't have the expertise, and the where withall to recognize a great shot.

Like your shots of the Cutty Shark, they were wonderful, but I would not have created the scenes that you did.

I hope that creativity will soon come to some of my photos.

Good Work, Mate

Jerry

P. S. I have a good friend from London.
