I had a similar problem with mine, but it was blue and only ever appered on 2 images, i've taken hundreds since and no blue spot!

Don;t know what caused it or why it went away! Possible somthing to do with the in-camera processing?

Have you checked back on other pics to see if it is a constant yet ? That is certainly the place to begin.

My FZ30 has a blue spot like that in the lower right. It's visible on some shots every now and then, mostly if it's on a dark background.

Not long after I bought the camera, I noticed some debris inside the lens and sent it in for cleaning/repair under warranty. I also asked them to see about fixing the blue spot and even included printouts as examples.

I got it back and the lens was cleaned, but the blue dot is still there occasionally. They said the camera was in good working order.

Since I usually do at least some PP to my pics, if the dot is apparent I just erase it. Not enough of a problem for me to worry about, but if it really bothers you, sent it in and see what they can do for you.

Robby.... had your camera been on for an extended period of time? A hot day? Both?

Does it show up on shots taken just after turning your camera on for the first time in the day?

Some hot/stuck pixels get show up as the imager gets warm to hot and will go away when it cools off. I had one like that on my FZ20 and it was only around in a few shots on one day of shooting. Haven't see it since.

A good tool to analyse for hot/stuck/dead pixels.... http://www.starzen.com/imaging/deadpixeltest.htm

Return it to your reseller immediately!!

Most retailers have a 7 to 21 day period where you can return the camera if there is a flaw in exchange for a new camera from stock.

Seller said that there is warranty for such problems. I called to Panasonic, and they said i have to send them to check or go to a laboratory that work for them. I went but i found a mess laboratory, full of dvd player, and car audio.... i didnt feel my camera could be handled as need...
I guess to change ccd or smt else, need so big care, and in that laboratory i dont feel i could find that.

ciao
