I bought the Panasonic FX01 mainly for my girlfriend and for myself too. I have the Pentax dSLR and its really great, but nothing beats a small point and shoot that you can whip out, take a shot and put it back in your pockets.

I really like this camera. The 28mm Leica lense is the main selling point for me on this camera and over the panasonic FX9 which has a 35mm Lecia lense.

Here is a picture that I took at Old Sacramento a few hours ago. The picture was taken at 100 ISO and hasnt been PS on resized. Tell me what you think about the picture.

Here is another one that I really like. I dont know why the lights came out green but it makes it look really cool.
