I found these guys in a local park yesterday. I hadn't seen the turtle before. He appeared to be lazily sunning himself, but every now and then he turned his head to see what I was doing.

This guy wouldn't sit still! He kept flitting from branch to branch. I finally caught up with him though.

Does anybody knows what kind of bird he is?

That's an American Goldfinch. We've got a couple of dozen that drop by our bird feeders in the backyard every day.

I believe it is a "Common Yellowthroat" from the Warbler family. Very nice pictures. Of course I could be wrong :0) Common Yellowthroat
