Thank you Schmintan! Regarding the equipment; used my FZ30, hand held from about 15 feet distance, using only the 12x 8mp zoom. I was lucky as the dragonflies were sitting a little longer than they normally do, perhaps due to the activity they were engaged in!. Jim

Thanks Francesco! I was only able to get within 15' of these little guys so couldn't use my Nikon 6T. They do seem to be quite active right now. Jim
