took my FZ20 for an outing tonite, and put it to use at one of the things it does best -capturing the glow of that magicalmoment just before the sun slips below the horizon. here are a couple of the shots i got...

a rose with the last light of the sun filtering through the petals...

and the sunset that followed...

to be fair, i did apply a bit of graduated blue to the sky, but the effect was worth the fudging! :G

Lovely shots Squirl.

Like the sunlight through the petals on the rose. I agree it was worth applying the blue to the sky.

Great to see you are still using FZ20 and your still around the best forum page.

Keep up the great shots.

Splentastic. Beautiful rose. I envy you your sunsets. I have seen several others you have posted. I am also glad to see you still use the Pany. It was on this forum, from others like yourself that I decided to go with the Panasonic, which I could not find in the local Baton Rouge store. You could order on Circuit City website at the time. But then there was a horror story there. I did end up mail ordering the FZ30, a lot of camera for me. Still learning, but loving it.

Thanks for your sharing.

FZ20 has great pros, united with some incredible project-blunders.
But it remains a great deal for the money, and satisfactory results will be far more numerous than disappointing ones, already since the first days.

Great Shots, although from a "digital-bigam" like you :-)
