I got my macro lenses in over the last couple of days. Got the DCR-150 and DCR-250. Both off of eBay from different sellers.I was going to order the CM-2000 bundle, but this way I saved a few dollars and have adapters for both lenses!

I've only tried the DCR-150 so far; the 250 is just a bit too powerful for now. I'll cut my teeth on the 150 and work my way up. :G

Here are a few of my first attempts at macro photography. They've been through a bit of PP to bring out the details. I have to say so far, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Man, you think you have a steady hand until you snap one of these things on your camera!

Comments are welcome.

very nice first attempts. I am interested in both lens also. May I inquire as to which seller you used?

Great Start

the anole (lizard) with bent head is just perfect. Nice idea to use it as your avatar.

Also the spider's portrait works a lot.

Did you use the on-board flash ?

Thanks for the nice comments, guys.

If I remember correctly, the shots of the anole lizard and the fly were shot using the onboard flash set at -2. The others were taken with a Sunpak 433 with a Stofen diffuser.

Looking at them on my work computer, they seem a little blown out now. Don't know if it's this monitor or not.

Jerry - I got one lens from an individual and the other from digital_bundle.

Thanks Redstickman

Just ordered the DCR 150 from Digital_Bundle for $31.90 including shipping.

Hope I can do as well as you starting out.
