For those who dont understand, he is a Chelsea Pensioner, very respected amongst the UK Military!

Nice, collage. Reminds me of my basic training days. However, I reckon the bloke in red, as someone else said must be the equivelent of what we called a drill sargent.

Maybe I came over as too flippant!

Chelsea Pensioners are very respected as are the Yeoman Warders you may meet at the Tower of London. Ex Service and proud!

Fred (ex- Bootneck)...For our US friends that is the nickname for Royal Marines (RM)the same as your name for US Marines is Leathernecks

USM = Leathernecks

RM = Real Marines

(Australia is a long way away from the US isn't it?) phew!!!
