Open an image and go to View to Full Screen. You should be able to go to full screen by hitting the Enter key on your keyboard. Other than that the only suggestion I can make is go to Help. Good luck!

Not sure about Windows Explorer but many freeviewers including irfanviewwill auto rotate images if that info is available in the image exif data as it is with the fz5. Go to Options/Properties/JPG and select auto rotate. Both thumbnails and full size images will be auto rotated.
Fred, is this a new feature? my version of Irfanview (v3.91) doesn't have an "autorotate" function... do i need to download a newer version?

dwelsh7,

In IrfanView 3.98, I have set

View -> Display Options -> Fit only big images to desktop

which leaves small images alone so they fill the window at 100% yet reduces large images to be no larger (width-wise and/or height-wise) than the desktop.

Squirl - 3.98 is the latest/current version. I think the auto rotate capability has beenaround for a couple of years. I would upgrade. It's free.
