My own opinion is that Lense 1 is sharper and therefore logically that is the Olympus?? :?

No, #1 is the homemade lens!
So I had to adjust my equipment again. - I used auto focus with this first test.
I fixed the focus and the results were exactly the same for both lenses!

So let's proudly present the Mcon 16 with full zoom power: 2-12x.

A good strong light source is the most important item in Macro work.

you could help use with a professional mounting of these lenses.

This is stacking: (picture can be enlarged)


You see some corner softness now. Lenses above +4 diopter should not be stacked.
There is a big gap between the two lenses. A closer setup would improve the results.
But I have a fantastic lens with +11 diopters - the MBS-10 - so I don't need this combination.

This stops the corner softness while stacking - a different setup.
I could not believe it, but the thread of the front lens is ???
right! 55mm x 0.75 - direct fit. Vignetting at 1.5x zoom.
It is safer to use an "empty" filter in between.
