Managed to get a few nice shots of the fireworks. Also used the movie mode and am well pleased. Resized only, no PP. Know could have been better, but my first time to try fireworks. Hoping everyone had a great day.

Jerry

P. S. Correction, these two were down in manual.

I like them. You were doing what I have been doing shooting at fireworks. I was using a 2 second delay so it was guess work on if I was going to capture anything or not.

Thanks Teree for viewing and commenting. Like you I am an amateur trying to learn. This was my first with the fireworks. One thing I learned, was to be sure what mode you are in. I meant to take shots in the fireworks mode after taking some in movie mode. I had set up the camera to the area of the fireworks. I switched from movie mode to what I thought was SCN2 mode, but was actually manual mode. I learned I should either have a small flashlight with me or look at the viewfinder to see what mode I am in. I was busy watching the fireworks. :G
