I took this shot using my FZ-5 while sitting on the front of my flats boat.* The zoom let me get pretty close. I used unsharp mask on gimp to sharpen the edges a bit.* Any other suggestions to really make this into something good?* (This is a smaller sized file for the web. Full size resides on my HD):

Nice shot! Good the way it is, but maybe punch up the contrast or brightness in Photoshop? Autolevels sometimes does wonders. This is especially good as a zoom shot; however, was is possible to get in close for a macro?

No chance at macro shot.* See that mud ?* That is some boot sucking, stinky stuff.* Also see those eye stalks, they are sharp eyed little devils.* I appreciate the input.* Thanks.
