Very nice, Fred. Like Bootneck, I would not have thought of taking these. Excitedly waiting for the FX01 to arrive. It is due Thursday. But, there is bad news on the horizon. I thought this would be the camera to compliment my FZ30, but seems the wife is more excited about it than I am. She already has a case for it, and made room in her purse for it. Should not have taken her to Best Buy. When will I ever learn.:PThat' us right now.

Thanks for the comments.

Fred - There are an infinite number of photo ops, particulrly close-ups like these. I hadn't really considered the fascinating world of macro when I first got envolved with photography, but it didn't take long. Playing around with backgrounds makes it that much more enjoyable.

Jerry - Just tell her you need to get some experience with it so you can help her use it properly. Might work.
