Sorry! Am very new to this. It took me ages to work out how to download them at all, and until I started reading these forums, I thought "noise" was something my children made. Still - I'll keep on truckin'. 'Spect there's hope for me yet.

Maureen [FX01 - beginner]

I have to say, I think the FX01 is a perfect beginner's camera. It's neat and not too complex.

Fred, the bayou is my rear property boundary. I have a small dock that I can go out on and fish or just enjoy a peaceful morning cup of java. In late evenings, a beer or two. As for the gators, we have not had one in the yard as of yet that I'm aware of. We do get snakes sometimes.

That bayou shot brings back so many memories of when I lived in Lafayette more than 27 years ago now (gee I feel old when I put it in those terms!!!). And that is in your back yard, WOW. Great photo. Thanks fer sharing.

Thanks to all of you for viewing and commenting. The bayou scene was looking downstream. I have dearly loved living here the past 37 years and look forward to many more. The attached scene is looking upstream from my little dock. Resized only.

Another nice bayou shot, Jerry. Have you gotten enough practice yet to show bayoubelle how it's done?
