Now that we're getting somewhat regular rainfall here, the bugs have started to come out. I'm finally seeing some jumping spiders. Caught this little one hunting fire ants on my house.

All taken with FZ-30 and Raynox DCR-250.

I see that you're definitely getting the hang of the 250. Soon you will be stacking. Nice captures.

jotajota - It wasn't easy getting him to sit still even for a second. He was all over the place chasing those poor ants. It's funny how some bugs will practically pose for the camera, while others seem eerily aware of what you're up to and are masters at avoiding being photographed.

bayourebel - Thanks. The only way I can get decent results with the 250 is if I have something to rest the camera against. I'm considering trying a monopod for a little stability. I'm too jittery to get good handheld results. Too much dark roast Community Coffee I guess. :O
