Well I just got home from my Grandmother's old farm in Brownfield Texas. It has been very hot and dry there this year, in factonly the irrigated fields had any type of crop. It's the worst I have ever seen it. Normally there is a large variety of small creatures wondering around the place but not this year.I was hoping to get some shots of a "cow killer" but I didn't even see one.

I guess this is a robberfly but my uncle always called them horseflies.

Another robber/horsefly

A dragonfly in a tree.

Thanks for the comment!

I just left the saturation, noise red., contrast, and sharpness seton std.

The green eyes on that fly are cool. What macro lens are you using?

Hi again.

The original color is red but i've changed it in photoshop.

I'm using a Raynox DCR-250 and also a FZ7. I'll postmore pictures in the future.
